Description: Sarah is in charge of creating a welcoming, fun environment in the Rec Hall that reflects our theme of Coming Home.   She will lead the team that will create the design plan, install and tear down the decorations.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Public Announcement System

Time and Location: Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm for setup; Tuesday, June 24, 2014 after dinner for breakdown at the Recreation Hall.

Description: Joe will provide a PA system to be used for all scheduled  presentations and events. There will be no use of the PA system without permission from Joe.  Contact him for any other requested use of the PA system.

Description: Craig and Susie are making all catering/dinner arrangements.

Kids Activities

Description:  Fun games and activities for toddlers through 12yrs old

Adult Tournaments/Games

Lead: Jeremiah & Hannah (Baxter) Knavenshue

Time and Location: Monday, June 23, 2014,  11am - 1pm by the Swimming Pool, and on-going by the Rec Hall

Description: Hannah and Jay will be supervising the Adult (12 and over) games that will be held on the lawn and the game courts by the Swimming Pool.  They are bringing some lawn games.  There are also 2 tennis courts, a sand volleyball court and a basketball hoop. 

Volunteer Opportunities:

·         Adults to plan and run tennis, volleyball basketball and/or other tournaments

·         Folks to bring sports equipment such as volleyballs, basketballs, tennis racquets, badminton, horseshoes, etc.

Time and Location: Group photo Monday, June 23, 2014 at 3:00 pm on the big rocks by the lodge.

Description: Ruth will be taking candid photographs during the Reunion, and will also be in charge of the group photo.  Ruth asks the Family Representatives to help ensure that their family members come to the group photo rendezvous site at least 15 minutes early. She would also like to remind everyone to wear sunscreen!

Variety Show

Time and Location Monday June 23, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Rec Hall;

Description: Joe will be the Stage Manager for the Variety Show on Tuesday night.  He requests that all participants sign up with him before the Reunion so he can create a schedule.  Joe will need to know the name and length of the act, the identities of the perfomer(s), and any AV support that will be required.

Volunteer Opportunities:

·         Assistant/Stage Hand to help with logistics during the Variety Show.

 

Kids Fishing Derby

Lead: Ron (James) Been; Tim Baxter; Craig Hervey

Time and Location: Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Fishing Pier by the Boathouse.

Description: : Ron, Tim, and Craig will be on hand to help the kids catch and release and weigh and measure the fish.  There is no cost to participate and no fishing license required for children under 16.  The guys request that adults sign their kids up ahead of time by sending an email to Ron before the Reunion, and that at least 1 responsible adult accompany the kids to the Derby to ensure everyone has a fun and safe time.  They also request that participants bring their own gear if possible.

Bingo

Description: Tim and Vanesa will decide what games will be called and provide the bingo cards and markers.
